Tickets can be bought by cash and most major credit/debit cards.

EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
We are unable to offer refunds for any ticket types. Usually we can offer ticket exchanges or account credit when requested at least 72 hours before the start time of a show. Any printed tickets must be returned to the box office before credit can be given.

Concessions
UoE Staff, UoE Alumni, ages 60+, under 16s, NUS cardholders, Universal Credit, Income Support, Housing Benefit, Registered Disabled, Wheelchair Users (Valid ID/ Documentation will be requested).
UoE Students
We offer fully discounted tickets to University of Essex students and students taking UoE accredited courses at other institutions.

GETTING HERE
By Train: Clifftown Theatre is located a few hundred meters from Southend High Street; it is within 200 meters of Southend Central station (London Fenchurch Street – Shoeburyness Line) and is a 20 minute slow walk from Southend Victoria station (London Liverpool St – Southend Victoria Line).
By Bus: The theatre is situated within a 20 minute slow walk of Southend Bus Station.
By Car: There is a large pay and display car park situated directly behind the theatre on Clarence Rd and which is free after 6pm. There is another car park situated next to Southend Central station on Scratton Rd. Limited parking is available in the street outside Clifftown on Nelson St which is also free after 6pm.

ACCESSIBILITY
Disabled customers who require a carer are entitled to one complimentary ticket with their ticket purchase.
Wheelchair Users
Customers who require a wheelchair space are requested to let the Box Office know as far in advance of a production as possible. We are fully accessible from the main entrance. We can accommodate up to 4 wheelchair users in the main auditorium. The Clarence Road car park located behind Clifftown has disabled parking bays for Blue Badge Holders. There is a distance of approx. 100 metres between the car park and the theatre entrance via Nelson Mews, which is the quickest route, although please note that the paving is uneven in places. An alternative Access Route can be found here.
Visually and Hearing Impaired
We welcome Assistance Dogs at all performances, please inform us when booking. We have a hearing induction loop system in place within the main auditorium. Please let us know of any requirements you or anyone in your party may have. We will do all we can to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. All children under 18 months can watch family and children’s shows for free. Please check in advance before bringing a baby, as some events might not be suitable.

Refreshments
The Clifftown Foyer Bar is open 30 minutes before the performance, during intervals and after shows which finish before 9pm (4pm, matinee). Tea, coffee and a wide range of soft and alcoholic drinks are available. Please note, we so not sell food at Clifftown, but there are many local restaurants/food outlets within a short walk of the building.
