Old Trunk presents

Tues 7th Jun 2016, 8:00pm

Old Trunk return with their accalimed show Pramkicker

Jude has always known she doesn’t want kids. Susie isn’t sure if her ovaries are twinging or if she just needs a wee.

One day, in a café full of yummy mummies, Jude loses the plot. Then gets arrested. Then gets sent to anger management. Susie goes along for the ride and uses the opportunity to confess a secret.

"Let’s get this over with, shall we. I had a slight situation and now they think I’m mental."

Meet Pramkicker.

"I am the Edith f***ing Piaf of the empty womb.  Je ne regrettay f***ing rien."

(She kicked a pram.)

Acclaimed Old Trunk present their hard-hitting play by award-winning Sadie Hasler.

"Compelling" - Scotsman
"Twisted genius" -
“Wonderful” -

Shane Shambhu presents

Fri 10th Jun 2016, 8:00pm

My Inside Playground is a new bilingual dance performance by Complicite Associate, Shane Shambhu.

Shane is using his inimitable wit, charm, skill and a mesmerising command of movement to create a humorous, honest and engaging new autobiographical solo with an acclaimed team of collaborators, including award-winning writer Jonathan Lichtenstein, National Thetare Associate.

By reflecting on his personal narrative of learning and performing Indian dance in the UK, Shane plays with the ways in which race, language and identity are perceived.

Join us for a fun and revealing night out!
